Maki no Mikata's commitment to the SDGs

No Poverty

The availability of unburned firewood could link the jobs of the poor in tropical developing countries, where there is firewood nearby but no firewood market, with the wealthy, who are unaware of new firewood uses for environmental concerns.

Quality Education

For example, if we can get elementary schools in the town of Keihokucho, Kyoto, to do crafts using firewood during their craft time, and if they come up with good ideas, the ideas will come back to the local economy, which will help them to overcome environmental problems and learn about society. This would be a good educational program.

If we can earn income from the things that were discarded in connection with 1, we can contribute to the Runocker.
